Loving my slides paired with something super soft and cozy like this knit sweater from Club Monaco. Perfect for those days that feel like both summer and fall. What's your mid-season staple?
Vancouver is a never-ending construction city. With that comes brand new makeovers which turns buildings, streets, transit platforms into something more futuristic! I was at Main St. skytrain station the other week and took this photo. It's looking modern than before! Love the geometric feel of this photo.
This summer, ripped denim and slides are all I seem to wear. Both comfy and casual. Can't get enough! Do you do the same? Find a combination of outfits you like and keep repeating them?
Been drinking a lot of coffee this summer. Just plain Americano with room for soy milk in the morning. That's my order everyday. I remember a time I was able to not have any coffee for 2 weeks straight and as soon as I took that first sip, I was bouncing off the walls. I was so surprised with the effect a 16oz cup full of caffeine had on me! What kind of morning drink do you have everyday? Do you think you can avoid it for a week? If you've done so, tell me about your experience!
There's something about plants that give any room life. I got some succulents for the office and I recently got basil plant for my kitchen. Me and my boyfriend keep watering it constantly since it starts to wither without water for a day. Although it's not the easiest to maintain, the basil definitely adds life to the room and more importantly, great use for cooking! What type of plants do you have around your house? What do you find is the easiest to maintain?
I've been flutin' (as I like to call it), since I was 13. I first chose the instrument because it was light enough for a 13 year old carry around and also because the sound was soothing. I remember the first few years of practice was brutal. Everyday, at least for 4 hours. Even Saturday + Sundays! Looking back, I am very glad I had the support of my family and friends to keep practicing. Although I wouldn't call myself any where near professional, I definitely can pick up a flute anywhere, any time and play a song or two.
